Dr Angela Kearney
General Dental Practitioner BA, BDentSc, PG DipClinDent
Dr Kearney graduated from TCD in 1993. She worked for the former Midlands Health Board and in private practice in both Dundalk and Drogheda prior to establishing her own practice on Fair Street, Drogheda in 1999. She completed her post graduate diploma in clinical dentistry in 2002. She is a member of both the Irish Dental Association and the Irish Endodontic Society and regularly attends post graduate courses and lectures. Although not specialised in any one area of dentistry she has a special interest in aesthetic white fillings, hygiene and periodontal treatment and treating children.

Dr. Nielle O’Connell
General Dental Practitioner BA, B DentSc, PCD RCSI
Nielle qualified with an honours degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2014. She has held full time associate positions in general dental practices in Scotland, Cavan and Dublin. She is interested in all aspects of dentistry and likes to keep up to date with the latest developments and techniques. She regularly attends lectures and courses for continuing professional development and was awarded a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from RCSI in 2016. A friendly, compassionate professional, Nielle identifies the factors that optimise oral health and offers advice and solutions tailored to the individual patient’s needs.
Laura joined the practice in 2016, having previously worked in dental administration. She lives locally and is a busy mum to 3 young boys.
In addition to working at reception where she will always greet you with a smile, Laura also works as a dental nurse in the surgery where she is professional and dedicated to learning this new role.
Elaine Wilson (DSA) joined the practice in 2007 from a background in industry and administration. Her role as senior dental nurse is to create and maintain a comfortable and professional treatment environment for our patients. She is also involved in all aspects of ordering materials and stock control ensuring the seamless running of all clinical aspects of the practice.
Helena McGann RDH joined the practice on a permanent basis in 2014. She initially qualified as a dental nurse from NUIG and then qualified as a dental hygienist in 2011 from TCD . She also holds a qualification in Specialist Oral Health Promotion from NUIG. She has a combined 12 years experience in private practice. She actively updates her knowledge and skills through regular attendance at lectures and seminars. She is happy to treat all aspects of dental hygiene including orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, special care dentistry, preventive dentistry and periodontology.
Ciara graduated as a Dental Hygienist from University College Cork. She also holds a specialist certificate in Oral Health Promotion obtained from NUIG. Her role involves treating patients in all matters related to dental hygiene and is committed to encouraging good oral hygiene. Her caring and empathetic manner helps patients feel relaxed & comfortable. Ciara is enthusiastically continuing her development of professional skills by attending regular lectures & conferences. Ciara is with us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Deirdre joined our team in October 2017. She has a background in science and quality management. She is a mum of two boys who keep her on her toes. You will meet her at reception on a Friday, and also on other mornings when she is here to look after our paperwork and documentation.
Carol joined the team in September 2018 as our Receptionist. She has worked for the last 12 years in the tourism and media industries, most recently as an executive assistant. Carol lived in London for 10 years, now lives locally and has a little boy. She works at reception and also manages our social media.
Hanna joined the practice in 2019. Hanna’s Polish and a fully qualified dental nurse with 7 years experience working in dentistry in Poland and is very happy to be part of our team. Hanna has a Certificate in Professional Dental Nursing and a Certificate in Professional Implantology Assisting. After work Hanna enjoys mountain walking, watching ice hockey and is a volunteer of Louth Nature Trust Conservatory in Baltray.
